Mayweather v McGregor
They are billing this as the fight the world has demanded. While that may be true, the majority of proper boxing fans have reacted with disbelief that this fight has been agreed.
Money obviously talks though, and it's been enough to tempt Mayweather out of retirements.

We'll cut straight to the chase here. The American has been retired for a couple of years now, but we should not forget it was only two years ago he disposed of Manny Pacquiao, so was hardly retiring after already dropping off. 49 fights, 49 wins and 26 by knock-out shows what an impressive fighter he has always been.
So enter Conor McGregor - a man who has never fought a professional boxing bout in his life. Boxing and UFC are both fought in a ring of course. And UFC contenders can punch each other as well. However the sports are arguably no closer than Football and Rugby (both are played on a pitch, both have a ball....). To think that McGregor can walk into a ring against a contender of the class of Mayweather is laughable.
So this is likely to be a contect Mayweather will dominate. He will surely win pretty much every round, so the real question is whether he will knock him out inside the distance. The power that Mayweather can unlease will surely be too much for a man who has faced an entirely different challenge through his career. There will be no hiding place in this one.
The play simply has to be to back Floyd Mayweather Jr to win by KO, TKO or Disqualification at 8/11.
