F1 British GP
We expect to double-dip into the F1 this weekend, with a bet before qualifying, and the anticipation of some opportunities post qualifying.

Starting with qualifying, Mercedes really look to have the single lap pace over Ferrari round here. With the extra grip available this season, Silverstone is a pretty frightening ride, and it sounds like Copse will be flat out this year for many of the drivers.
Mercedes have claimed seven of the nine poles this season, with Hamilton leading Bottas 5-2 so far. The bookies have the Brit as thier 8/15 favourite for pole - he's claimed it four times previously here in his career, but we reckon the 5/2 on Valtteri Bottas could be the better bet. Bottas has qualified in the top three in every race this season, and notably got pole in Russia - the only event this season where he has beaten Hamilton in both FP1 and FP2.
With e/w offered for a Top 2 finsihed at 1/3 odds, you are getting a 5/6 shot on the Top 2, and that looks decent value.
Come the race, we'll likely be looking to back Ferrari somehow - the below chart shows the longest stints for each of the top six drivers in FP2, and you can clearly see the drop-off being experienced by Mercedes (Hamilton in blue notably). Raikkonen (Yellow) and Vettel (Grey) consistently kept within the 1m 33.5s mark and could benefit come the race. More of that tomorrow after qualifying though if things play out as we hope!
