League Two Betting Tips
Wycombe are just a single point ahead of Grimsby after three League Two games, but there is plenty of evidence to suggest the gap should be much greater ahead of their match on Saturday.

Wycombe opened the season with a close 2-2 draw with Lincoln - probably a fair result on the day - and then went to Port Vale to win a match that they always looked the better side. They should have kicked on from there, and despite conceeding two early goals to Notts County, deserved to end up the victors in that one - only for two late sucker punch strikes to deny them. If they'd won that, we might be talking about a table topping team right now.
Grimsby by contrast are another mid-table team, but in this case, they are probably more lucky to be in that sort of position. The opening day win over Chesterfield (3-1) was probably one of the most fortuitous wins of the season so far, and since then just a point has been added. We could be talking about a bottom of the division side on a different day.
All this points to an away win, under the trusted watch of Gareth Ainsworth.

Our second tip in the division is recently promoted Lincoln, who welcome Carlisle to town. The Imps won 17 of their 23 home games last season, and needlessly dropped points at home to Morecambe, and could have won at Exeter easily last weekend given the chances they created. All the evidence points to at least a mid-table finish for the newly promoted side, and Carlisle are just the sort of side they should be beating on home soil.
The Cumbrians have been inconsistent thus far - losing to Swindon, winning at Cambridge, and then probably lucking out somewhat against Cheltenham in a game that saw them flattered by the 3-0 scoreline.
Expect a regression to the mean here, and back a Lincoln win at 23/20 with Bet365.
