US Open - Womens Day 2 Tips
Denisa Allertova looks a solid selection to hand out a lesson to a younger and less experienced opponent on Tuesday when she comes up against Rebecca Peterson.

Peterson has been rising through the rankings on the basis of her decent form in lower grade tournaments in general, but when tested against better players, she has come up short so far in her short career. In fact, she is just 2-12 against Top 100 players over the past three seasons and have lost all four matches on hard courts. Allertova hasn’t been incredible herself, with a 21-40 record and 12-24 on Hard Courts, but it is notably better.
The market seems to be looking for an upset here, but we’re not sure it’s going to find one, and that leaves Allertova as a standout bet at even money. Get involved and double your money on this one.

Another tight match is being predicted by the bookies when Taylor Townsend plays Ana Bogdan, and we believe the home crowd could be crucial to helping Townsend to victory in this one. While there isn’t a great deal between the pair, the American has the better record when it comes to playing at this sort of level, with a two year 10-12 record against Top 100 players, and 9-7 on hard courts.
Bogdan is a few places higher in the rankings, but her 9-19 two season record v top 100 and 5-11 on hard suggests she could actually be on the receiving end of a little more than expected. The pair have never met, but all the signs point to a home favourite result, and at odds of 4/5 she looks decent value.
