US Open - Mens Day 3
Most of play was washed out on Tuesday, so whether we’ll get into the second round matches when play resumes on Wednesday remains to be seen. If we do, then the first man we’ll be backing is Mischa Zverev. The German is a handy 5/4 to upset Frenchman Benoit Paire, and there is a chance the bookies have got the wrong favourite here.

Zverev has a decent hard court record over the past couple of campaigns – 16-20 against Top 100 players, while Paire is 10-15 on the same stat. The German has also enjoyed a little more court time recently, reaching the 2nd round of both the Rogers Cup and the Cincinnati Open – Paire exited both at the 1st round without winning a set.
