Wolves and Preston meet on Saturday, with the bookies pitching Wolves as their strong odds-on favourites. They could be worth opposing though at those odds, with Preston continue to snap at the heels of the leaders, and this really could be a season making match for Alex Neil's men. Come through this test, and North End face a very decent looking run with home matches against Brentford, Aston Villa and Bolton, and an away tie at Ipswich.

Wolves warrant respect, and not for a minute are we doubting their credentials. But Preston haven't lost since August, and that was their only reversal in the division so far this campaign, so can anyone really be odds-on to beat them? They have also scored seven in their last three away matches.
1pt Preston to beat Wolves at 9/2 (General)
Regular readers of this column won't be surprised to see us siding with Brentford. In our view, the Bees are extremely unlucky not to be significantly higher in the table than their current 18th. They've drawn exactly half of their 12 matches which certainly hasnt helped.
They take on Sunderland this weekend which could offer the perfect opportunity for them to kick on. With just one home defeat all campaign there is certainly enough enthusiasm from the home fans, and a few marginal differences could have seen them with one of the best home records in the section.
The shot data for the season makes incredible reading given there is just four points between these two. Brentford have a 215-126 F/A record, compared to Sunderland who are 133/162 F/A this season. Quite a difference!
2pts Brentford to beat Sunderland at 9/10 (VC Bet)
