Premier League Best Bets

Crystal Palace made all the headlines last weekend as they shot down Chelsea at Selhurst Park, but could be brought back down to earth with a bump up in Newcastle on Saturday.

Palace are yet to score in four away wins this season, but given how they have been shipping goals it's a safe bet that Roy Hodgson has been working on things at the other end of the pitch on the training ground, which could leave them short of fire power.

Newcastle have lost just once in their last seven, and have banked an away draw at Southampton, and home wins against West Ham and Stoke, plus a draw against Liverpool in that run.

They look a decent enough side this term and should be backed at 10/11 this weekend.

Our other game of interest is Swansea v Leicester where we believe a tight game could ensure this one doesn't headline first up on Match of the Day. The Under 2.5 Goals is available at 4/5 and that looks pretty generous.

Six out of eight of Swansea's matches this season have ended up with two or fewer goals, and while Leicester have been a bit more adventurous Michael Appleton will be tasked with keeping things simple in his first match as caretaker boss at the Foxes.
