Mexican GP
The F1 circus heads south to Mexico this weekend with every chance that Lewis Hamilton will clinch his fourth Drivers Championship, and we reckon he can do it in style with victory here.

Last week’s venue in Texas was meant to be a Ferrari track, but Hamilton dominated the field in imperious fashion, and he should be backed to do so again on a Mexican track which should play nicely into the hands of the powerful Mercedes power unit. Hamilton has won nine of the 17 races so far this season, but perhaps more notably he has taken the chequered flag in five of the last six. Hamilton can be backed at 7/4 with a couple of firms..
It’s difficult to argue that Mexico will be a particularly strong layout for Red Bull, but Daniel Ricciardo has to figure in our staking plans again for the simple reason that he’s the man who just gets the job done week in, week out (apart from last weekend of course!!!) He has stood on the podium in nine of the last 13 races, including Belgium and Austria which certainly wouldn’t be seen as ideal circuits for the Red Bull.
Getting back to that powerful Mercedes engine, Force India driver Esteban Ocon has matched Daniel Ricciardo’s consistency this campaign, finishing in the points in every race except Monaco. Only Lewis Hamilton has done a better job in that department! With the benefit of a competitive package for this track, Ocon has every chance of delivering a seventh Top 6 finish of the season and looks overpriced at 5/2 to do so.
Our final bet of the week will be on Over 16.5 Finishers. 22 started last season and 21 saw the flag, so it’s clearly not a car breaker, and a combination of decent run off and an absence of any big stops around the lap give us a great chance of landing this bet.
