Tottenham v Real Madrid
We'll keep this preview pretty short. We all know about Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen, and we are hardly unfamiliar with Ronaldo, Benzema and co, so we don't need to create too much narrative to plug the gaps. You'll all have your own views on this match too of course, which we may or may not manage to influence.

Spurs have been the most reliable side in the Premier League over the past three years, so it's about time they were held in the same esteem as Man Utd, Man City and Chelsea, and they've already banked some impressive results in Europe this season, putting three past Dortmund and Apoel before grabbing an impressive draw in Madrid in the last round of matches.
The European Elo ratings (adjusted for all domestic and European club matches) make Real Madrid a decent chunk better than Spurs, but the London side are now rated higher than Man Utd and Chelsea, and only marginally weaker than Bayern Munich. With home advantage (they seem to have overcome the Wembley hoodoo quickly enough), this should be quite a level match, so Spurs at 9/4 has to be the call in our eyes.
1pt Tottenham to beat Real Madrid at 9/4 (Generally)
