Thursday's runner goes in the 7:15pm at Chelmsford, where we fancy a two way shoot-out between Petite Jack and Middle Kingdom.
The latter warrants plenty of respect after an impressive win back in April, and he remains unbeaten in his short career. This is another step up in class though, so there has to be some nervousness given he looks likely to go off at odds-on.
Instead, we prefer Petite Jack who has decent form figures on the all-weather of 161112101 and is a course and distance winner last time out. With six wins from nine starts on the all-weather and just a single place from six outings on turf, it's clear to see the preference.
The 4/1 on offer looks a much better option than the market favourite in this one.
