Preston v Bolton - Sky Sports 1

The Sky Sports cameras are at Preston tonight, where Bolton make the short trip hoping to build on a promising run which has seen them collect nine points from their last five matches, including a fine 2-1 victory over Norwich last weekend.

In general, the market has not been keen on showing Bolton too much respect and our ratings have had them down as an altogether better side than they are being given credit for on a weekly basis, however, the same is true of Preston and we fancy that their shock 3-0 defeat at Ipswich a fortnight ago could be just the kick they needed to ground themselves and get back to basics.

Their shot-data for the season has been very impressive and perhaps the biggest risk they faced this season was a battle weary army given the small nature of their squad. An international break was surely just what the doctor ordered, and they will have spent the time wisely no doubt.

On the evidence of what we've seen this season, there is no way Preston should be considered and odds-against shot in this one, so back the Lilywhites to win at 11/10 with Stan James or Bet Victor. The price is generally on the drift, so you might well get the same price with your preferred bookie ahead of kick off.
