World Championships - Day 10 Afternoon Session
With nothing fancied in the first, we'll waste no time in advising Rob Cross as a fair priced selection to beat Michael Smith 4-2.

Cross has enjoyed a fabulous season - performing well within the level of the top 10, and probably edging into Top 5 territory. He will almost certainly contend the 2018 Premier League, and this will be the last major tournament where people wonder who he is.
In Michael Smith he has a worthy opponent who will score big, so breaks should be kept to a minimum despite Cross' impressive finishing stats.
This could well be a single break type of match, so backing Cross to win 4-2 at 7/2
1pt Rob Cross to win 4-2 at 7/2
In the 3rd match of the session between Steve West and Jermaine Wattimena, we like the look of Double 20 winning the match at the end - given that both players are confident on tops.
Wattimena is a pretty solid tops finisher, but nothing exception - just enough to fit around the 3/1 sort of price we get with Bet Fred, but it becomes much better value when you factor in just how much Steve West tends to set it up. Pretty much every visit in fact. He checks out on Tops in roughly 40% of the legs he plays, so given he's the slight match favourite, we'll put a point on the d20 finish.
1pt Match Winning Double to be d20 at 3/1
