Sheffield Wednesday v Derby

Derby have conceded just once from open play in 15 matches now, so will fancy their chances of returning across the peak district with all three points when they meet Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night.

Both sides come into this with some selection issues - Derby faced with a few players beginning to show signs of fatigue against Norwich, and Sheffield Wednesday still struggling with a number of key players on the treatment table.

Derby boss Gary Rowett reporting on Monday that he expected to make a couple of changes just to freshen things up a bit. Curtis Davis, George Thorne and Matej Vydra are among those who could miss this one.

Wednesday welcome back Daniel Pudil from suspension, and Glenn Loovens from injury, but will be without Gary Hooper, Keiren Westwood, Sam Hutchinson and Almen Abdi once again.

Form wise, Ipswich were the last team to beat Derby, way back in November, and the Rams haven't lost on the road since September when Bristol City took the full haul of points. While Vydra is a clear loss, Derby have an abundance of capable back-up strikers, so shouldn't be overly concerned.

The Owls have improved since Carlos Calvalhal left, but have still won just twice from eight, so we shouldn't get too excited. Those wins came against Carlisle and Reading, both at Hillsborough.
