We stay at Lingfield on Saturday with a speculative bet on Brother Tiger to win the 2:20pm. We had a near miss on Friday, coming home third, so we'll be hoping for plenty from Fran Berry's mount.
He's an experienced sort, having raced 12 times at this track before, and 28 times over this short distance. He's placed in 8 of his 12 outings at Lingfield, winning five, and also been successful over the distance, with 13 places (46%) and winning five times (17%).
With the race expected to be run at a very solid pace, he couldn't be much better suited, and he brings the top speed rating into the race, and that could take Dynamo Walt out of the equation, despite him being offered at just 6/1.
Brother Tiger runs off just 8st 12lbs, which has to give him a huge chance in this one, and the 7/2 available with Bet365 will surely not see the morning. We wouldn't put anyone off taking 3/1 if the early fancy prices go quickly.
