League One - Easter Monday
Back at the start of December the League One table looked a little (well exactly) like this:

Since then things have changed somewhat. Firstly, Scunthrope have fallen out of contention for automatic promotion following a disappointing run of just 22 points in the second 20 game run of the season, versus 40 in the opening 20. They actually have a (-3) goal difference in the latter run.
Plymouth by contrast have been incredible. They've gone from rock botton to 6th in the table, and collected 43pts in the 19 games which followed, versus just 17 in the opening 20 fixtures. Their goal different in the second period is an excellent (+18). Based on this, can we really justify quotes as short as even money on Scunthorpe or have the bookies still not caught up with Plymouth? Our suspicion is the latter.
5pts Plymouth to beat Scunthorpe at 16/5
Northampton make the short trip to Peterborough hoping to make up for a 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Charlton on Saturday, but they could find their survival hopes dealt another blow by Steve Evans' promotion hunting side.
The Cobblers are now without a win in eight, failing to score in four of their last six, and a run of three away games is hardly what they would want on the run in.
Posh have lost just once in 10, and appear to have begun to gel with the new gaffer quickly. There is plenty of 4/5 on offer about the hosts.
2pts Peterborough to beat Northampton Town
Shrewsbury Town are another side at slight odds-on who should be shorter ahead of their tie with Oxford. A defeat at Rochdale will have been disappointing, but it doesn't change the fact that the Shrews have won 12 of their 18 matches at New Meadow this season, and have won five of their last seven (home and away).
Oxford's recent record reads 2-2-8, and they have won just once away from home in 11 now. Stick with the home side in this one.
2pts Shrewsbury to beat Oxford at 9/10
Up at Bradford, goals could be at a premium when the Bantams play Walsall - neither side finding goals easy to come by lately. Bradfords lack of goals has been the main contributing factor towards their run of just one win in 13 - only two of their opponents in that run have scored more than twice!
The Bantams have now failed to score in five consecutive matches, while Walsall have lost without scoring in four in a row.
