Horse of the Day
We employ a very particular strategy in arriving on Wednesday's Horse of the Day, but one which has delivered plenty of success in the past.

Understanding how early pace transforms into results at various tracks is always an important aspect to consider, and the 7f at Kempton has a strong tendency to hamper those horses who are averse to taking up early prominent positions over the opening two furlongs.
That's good news for Ubla in the 9:15pm last race of the day, with all bar one of his rivals regular late movers. Only Arctic Flower is considered likely to dispute the early lead in this one, but hails from an out of form yard and has little to offer in this one.
That could mean Ubla has it all his own way and we expect him to make all in this one. His best form has come in this sort of race - with five places from nine handicap races over 7f. He has managed just four places from a further 21 runs in other race codes, so this is clearly the niche.
