Anthony McGill v Ryan Day (Wed)
We’re siding with the seeded player at odd-against in this one as two very evenly matched players got the draw they didn’t want in round 1.

Ryan Day has been in great form this season winning three events, including back-to-back titles a couple of months ago. Whilst he’s always been a very capable player, his mental game has often been questioned so getting over the line to win events has been a big step forward. But he won’t find it easy against Anthony McGill who has won two events himself this season, albeit one of those being the Shootout.
For me, this is a classic pickem match; both players are in good form, it’s 6-6 on the head-to-head form (although McGill has won the last three) and they have similar Sheffield records. 6/4 about the seeded player is generous and worth a bet.
1pt Anthony McGill to win at 6/4
