Wimbledon Day 7 (Mon)

It's not been a classic Wimbledon yet, for Statto Bets or the tournament as yet, but there's a great day of action to look forward to on Monday with the full draws of both the Mens and Womens taking place.

We'll start with Gael Monfils v Kevin Anderson, where the Frenchman may be slightly underrated against the big-serving South African. It's an astonishing statistic that Monfils has never been past the 3rd round at SW19, so is already making history for his Wiki page, and there are reasons to beleive he can get even deeper into the event.

He won at odds-against versus Sam Querrey in the 3rd round which will be good prep for what should be a similar type match, and has won 10 of the 11 previous sets between the men over the years.

Anderson has an impressive 91% hold rate on grass courts against players ranked 10-100 over the past three seasons, but a break rate of just 12.3% shouldn't really be enough to regularly threaten the Monfils serve - even if that is the Frenchman's weakness.

In the John Isner v Stefano Tsitsipas match, a first set breaker looks the best angle of attack. We wouldn't expect to see Isner having his serve broken - he'll be holding well north of 88% over the match in all likelihood, so its just about whether the American can grab a break of his own.

Tsitsipas has played four matches against top 100 players over the past three seasons on grass, holding serve 91% of the time, and breaking just 9%. He looks to have really mastered the big serving efforts needed on the courts, despite not usually having the same sorts of metrics away from grass.

The last time the pair met, Isner won 7-6 7-6, while Isner is yet to be broken this week after 58 service games. He's faced just five break points. Tsitispas has been broken eight times in 57 games.

1.1pts Tie Break in First Set at 10/11

Finally, we've had a winner and a loser backing Milos Raonic to win 3-0 this week, and we're going to try to get back into profit on that front in this one.

Raonic has dropped just a single set so far this week, while MacKenzie McDonald is probably feeling lucky to still be here, after scraping past Nicolas Jarry 11-9 in the final set on Wednesday. He's already spent 8 hours 24 minutes on court this week - Raonic just 6 hours 41 minutes.

Raonic has played 18 times on grass in the last three seasons against players ranked 10-100, winning 96% of service games. Wow! That makes him unbreakable, and his 18% receive rate, while poor, is good enough to get things done with that service game backing it up. Dont let his No.32 ranking fool you, he's No.2 on Grass (and No.5 on Hard Courts).
