Championship Antepost Update
Just the one bet in the Championship, where we fancy adding just Hull to our relegation picks after a poor start to the season to Nigel Adkins side.
Hull have just four points on the board so far, including a win at Rotherham, who look almost certain to end up amongst the relegation candidates themselves. Four consecutive home defeats has to be pretty bad for morale and they face a pretty important match on Saturday week against an Ipswich side who will feel under plenty of threat at this point as well. After that they have Wigan, Middlesbrough and Leeds in a tough four game run, so now looks the time to get against the Tigers at a decent price.
Over their opening six matches they have managed just 18 shots on target, for 32 against. That typically delivers something in the order of 6 goals for, and 10 against. Given the sides they have face, that's not likely to be sustainable.
