Focus on the Isthmian
It feels wrong to pull multiple fancies from the same non-league division, but that's precisely what I'm doing this weekend with a host of teams in the Isthmian who look worth backing.

We'll start with Folkstone at home to Kingstonian. A decent home side this year, having won over 50% of thier games, Folkstone have now won five of their last seven home/away, and have turned their home into a fortress - winning eight on the trot. In that run they have scored 26 goals and conceded just 3. Kingstonian are no mugs at all, and will pose a stern test, but they have lost their last two and I'd have been shorter than the 11/8 on offer about the home side.
Next up are Mersten who entertain Hornchurch. Mersten have won six and drawn two in an eight match unbeaten run, which is even better than that might sound considering they took a point home frm Haringey (top) and beat Dorking 4-1 (2nd) and Lewes 3-2 (3rd). I wrote about Hornchurch last week, who are in a terrible run having won just twice in 15 now - those wins both coming against sides who look like relegation fodder.
2nd in the table Dorking go to Potters Bar, boasting a record of 11 wins in their last 18 matches, and that wouldn't usually see me rushing to back them at even money on the road. However, their opponens are in real trouble at the moment - losing 10 of their last 13 and without a win at home since November 3rd. Dorking should get the job done and look worth adding into a Isthmian perm bet.
The only side above Dorking in the table are Haringey Borough - a side who look almost shoe-ins for the title the way they are racking up results. They have won 13 of their last 15 matches now and four from five on the road. This week's opponents are Tonbridge, who have lost eight from 12 now in all competitions and have conceded 2+ goals in seven consecutive matches. Haringey are 13/10 to win this one.
Finally Brightlingsea Regent travel to Wingate and Finchley - a side who have conceded 19 goals in just five games! It's been a tough run of course - facing Lewes and Haringey, but even so, their confidence must be shattered. Brightlingsea have won eight of their last 11 and I'm now sure they should be as big as 13/10
Folkstone at 29/20
Mersten (-1) at 19/10
Dorking at 19/20
Haringey at 13/10
Brightlingsea at 13/10
