4.10 - Festival Plate
24 lilvely contenders should take the start in this one, led by Janika - the 9/2 favourite. Eamon An Cnoic (easy for you to say) could be the spoilsport though, and has already seen money this morning.

He took 9th in last year's Ultima and that tends to be a much sterner test of ability than this one, and he tired towards the end of that race last year. A drop back to 2m 4f for this should suit a fair bit better therefore. He was a winner over 2 miles on his last outing as well and knows his way round this course. There will be worse 10/1 shots when so many firms are paying five places.
Spiritofthegames is less popular in the market but is just 1lb higher than when placing over this track and trip against a number of todays contenders and warrants more respect than that.
Finally, if conditions do get heavier through the day, Kalondra could pick up, and plans to travel from the back of the pack in this one. He'll be held up so it could be an inplay bet more than a before the off, but the 16/1 with Bet 365 is a noteworthy price at this point.
1.5pts e/w Eamon An Cnoic at 10/1 (Corals 1/5 5 places)
1pt e/w Spiritofthegames at 8/1 (Bet365 1/4 5 places)
1pt e/w Kalondra at 16/1 (Bet365 1/4 5 places)
