EFL League Two
Let's start our journey through League Two in Bradford, where Oldham are the visitors. I've been unimpressed with the Latics so far this season, as they lost at Forest Green without registering a shot on target, and then went down at home to Crewe in a game where there were second best throughout.
Bradford did everything but score on the opening on the opening day against Cambridge and should have been out of sight with more clinical finishing. Ultimately it ended 0-0. They weren't great against Grimbsy, but their opponents are continually under-rated and will threaten plenty of other sides this season as well. At 5/6 with Bet Victor Bradford are just value.
Speaking of Grimsby, they have now put in two good stints already this season and Michael Jolley continues to work his unorthodox magic. An opening day win at Morecambe has already given the Mariners a good boost to ease nerves, and they followed up with a point against Bradford.
They travel to an equally unique club - Forest Green - who were well out-played at Walsall last week, and are probably fortunate to have posted three points. Bet365 offer an attractive 16/5.
Finally, Leyton Orient face Stevenage, and should fancy their chances against a side who look like potential relegation fodder this time around. In their opening two matches, Stevenage have posted just 32% of shots in their matches, and 25% of on-target efforts. That's not good enough to win matches. Against Exeter they managed just 0.4 expected goals as they lost 1-0, while against Salford it was just 0.5 as they went down 2-0. Given how badly Salford went on to perform against Crawley gives that some context.
Orient dominated Cheltenham on day 1, and were at least competitive against Macclesfield - a result which massively flattered Sol Campbell's side (he's left now of course).
