EFL Championship
We tipped QPR for the drop this season, but the evidence so far suggests they could well have enough to stay up. They are all the way down in 19th, but performance levels have been encouraging, and they are good value to win this weekend when they host Wigan.

The Latics are a couple of spots lower in the table, but have allowed 62 shots against their goal already this season in just four matches, while creating just 40 themselves. Since opening the season with a 3-2 win over Cardiff, they have now failed to score in 375 minutes of football.
Only a point better off, QPR have definitely been good enough to win a few more this season. They at least matches Swansea last week in losing 3-1, and were better than Bristol City at Ashton Gate the week before when losing 2-0.
They are even money to win this one on Saturday.
Some columns have been talking up Neil Harris' Millwall, but I'm not convinced he's sorted all the difficulties down there just yet. They have collected seven points from their opening four league games and also progressed in the EFL Cup, but performance levels have not been perfect.Their 1-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday was very much against the run of play, while they then went out and got hammered 4-0 at Craven Cottage in midweek.
This week's opponents are Middlesbrough who have won just once so far in five outings. Let's start at Luton, where rustiness seemed to have played a part in their sloppy defending. They deserved more than the point they shared though ultimately. They then outplayed Brentford but lost 1-0. Losing to Blackburn was probably fair, and then they won against Wigan. All in all, they are in decent nick in my eyes, and fans should be confident of the season ahead.
