Scottish Championship
Just the one pick this week in the Championship, where Queen of the South look worth backing when they face a pretty awful looking Alloa.

The Wasps have won just twice this season after seven matches - both in the League Cup, and don't appear to have put up much resistance when facing Arbroath and Morton in this last two matches. They had men sent off in both of those matches, which means they will be without midfield man Steven Hetherington for this one. I always prefer to be looking at shots and corners data at this stage of the season (rather than goals and shots on target) in order to get a decent sample size. Alloa have allowe a league high 39 shots against this season, and conceded 30 corners in just three matches - winning just 11.
Queen of the South have won just once themselves, but they have drawn four as well, so aren't poised too badly for the season ahead. Their shot numbers this season read 29-22 so they are efficient enough, and they also have a positive corner count (+7) suggesting they've been plenty competitive enough.
