Nantes v St Etienne (4pm)
With PSG going away at the top of Ligue 1, the rest are playing for second place, but perhaps that adds some jest to this one, with Nantes in 6th (19 pts) and St Etienne in 9th (18 pts). They are only a fraction off Angers in 2nd, and have a game in hand over everyone above them, so either side could end the day in 2nd place if things fall right.
After 13 points from their opening six home games, I'm sold on Nantes' chances in this one - especially when we open with a look at the St Etienne injury crisis. The visitors will be without Charles Abi (6/0 f), Yann M'Vila (11/0 m), Wesley Fofana (3/0 d), Yohan Cabaye (7/0 m) and William Saliba (5/0 d), which rips a load of holes in their line-up.
They've been in decent form lately, winning four and drawing four of their last eight, but they haven't won any of those by more than the odd goal, and it's been a hectic schedule with Europa commitments - most recently being in Ukraine on Thursday.
Nantes haven't had the same distractions, and look likely to name a fully fit squad for this one. They've won seven of their last 11 and should be high on confidence and looking to win a tight game. It's worth noting that eight of their 13 matches this season have seen fewer than two goals scored.
Understat.com's expected goals table puts St Etienne in 18th place, which largely tallies with our numbers which are showing them at just 40% shot ratio recently and 47% over the full season.
